From Galesburg
To reach Speer Funeral Home from Galesburg, take highway 150 North out of Galesburg. Follow Hwy. 150 until Alpha. On the north edge of Alpha turn left (west) onto Highway 17. Follow Hwy. 17 through New Windsor and Viola to Aledo. We are the first building on the left as you come into Aledo, adjacent to John Deere. (If you come to a stop light you have gone too far. )
From Monmouth
To reach Speer Funeral Home from Monmouth, take highway 67 north out of Monmouth. Follow Hwy. 67 to Viola. At the stop sign, turn left (west) onto Highway 17. Follow Hwy 17 into Aledo. We are the first building on the left as you come into town, adjacent to John Deere. (If you come to a stop sign, you have come too far.)
If you choose to come up Highway 94 from the south: follow hwy 94 into Aledo. At the stop light (by the Court House) turn right onto Hwy 17 (east) and follow through town, through the next stop light. We are the last building on the right as you head out of town on Highway 17 towards Viola.
From Muscatine
To reach Speer Funeral Home from Muscatine, cross over the Mississippi River and follow, Hwy. 92. Turn right onto the New Boston Blacktop. Follow until the road ends. Turn left onto Highway 17 and follow through Joy, IL into Aledo. Follow Hwy 17 through both stop lights in Aledo. We are the last building on the eastern edge of Aledo on the right side of the road, adjacent to John Deere.
From Quad Cities
When traveling from the Quad Cities, take highway 67 south out of Milan. Follow Hwy. 67 south to Viola. At the stop sign, turn right (west) onto Highway 17 and follow for 5 miles. As you come into the Aledo City limits, Speer Funeral Home is the first building on the left, adjacent to John Deere. (If you come to a stop light, you have gone to far.)
