Graveside services for Willard Brown, 65 of Aledo, are Wednesday at 11:00 AM at McPherren Cemetery, on 55th Avenue, rural Aledo. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #121, of which Willard was a member. Memorials may be made to the Willard Brown Memorial Fund. Willard died on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Mercer County Hospital. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.

Willard was born on June 6, 1947 in Moline, IL to Richard & Alma (Johnson) Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Willard and Beth Mosley were married on September 7, 2004 in Forsyth, MO.

Willard retired from Ruan Transportation. He was a member of Teamsters Local Union #371.

Willard enjoyed his model trains, tractors and his Army Jeep. He was a member of the Military Vehicle Preservation Assoc. and a founding member of the Aledo Train club. He also collected farm toys.

Survivors include his wife, Beth; mother, Alma; brother, Mark and step-children: Curtis Moore, Lindsey Baker and Crystal Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dwayne.
