Dwain P. Parish, 57 of Aledo, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his home. A time of remembering will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Inurnment will be held in Texas at a later date.

Dwain was born on October 26, 1955 in Greenville, Texas to Stanley & Nellie Jacobs Parish. He has been in the Aledo area for over 20 years with his companion, Laurie Long.

Dwain was a retired Auto mechanic. He loved fishing and listening to all kinds of music. He also enjoyed playing games, especially cards. Dwain was an avid Dallas Cowboy’s and Mavericks Fan. He and Laurie had a special cat, Stubby.

Dwain is survived by his companion, Laurie Long; sister, Deborah Stringer of Quinlan, TX; 7 children: Chris, Rocky, Misti Dawn, Amanda, Deborah, Sarah and Kathy Jo. He was preceded in death by his parents and several sisters and brothers.
