Eleanor Pauline Andress, 91 of Moline, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Trinity Rock Island. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 11:00 AM at the Aledo United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Mercer Carnegie Library. Private family burial will be in Aledo Cemetery. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.

Pauline was born December 19, 1921 on the family farm north of Joy, Illinois to Thomas Orville & Coral Marguerite (Bear) Andress. She was a graduate of White Eagle Grade School, Aledo High School, Scovill Business College in Sterling and had an Accounting degree from Northern Illinois University.

Pauline retired from Deere and Company in 1984 after 18 years, working prior to that for a supplier for Deere.

Pauline was an active member of several organizations, most recently: American Association of University Women and its Book Club. She traveled but was a mid westerner at heart.

Pauline is survived by three nephews and their families: Donald & Marilyn Andress of Illinois City; Roger & Jodie Andress and Howard & Linda Andress all of Aledo; her sister-in-law: Aileen Andress of Aledo. Also surviving are cousins in Illinois, California and Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Lyle and Clair and his wife, Ellen and nephew, Harold Eugene Andress.
