Carroll E. Cox

Carroll E. Cox, 59 of Moline, formerly of Mercer County, died Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Graveside services are Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Eliza Creek Cemetery, Eliza, Illinois. Visitation is Monday from 5 to 8 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be made to the Carroll Cox Memorial Fund. Carroll was born on December 18, 1952 in Muscatine, Iowa to Joseph & Irene (Noll) Cox. He was previously married to the former Robin Kilburn. Carroll enjoyed farming for several area Mercer County Farmers. Carroll is survived by his son Wayne (Autumn) Cox of New Boston; a step-son, Levi (Adrian) Kilburn of Hannibal, MO; a granddaughter, Aubree Cox; brothers: Joseph & William Cox of Muscatine and a sister, Janet George of Eldridge, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
