Funeral services for Scott Duncan, 47 of Aledo, are Saturday at 11:00 AM at Speer Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday. Burial will be in Aledo Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Scott Duncan Memorial Fund. Scott died on April 24, 2012 in Aledo. Scott David Duncan was born on August 28, 1964 in Aledo, Illinois to Dave & Janice (Castor) Duncan. He graduated from Aledo High School in 1982. He was previously married to Tammie Whitecanack on November 4, 1989. Scott was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed fishing and walking with his dog, Chico. He also had a special cat, Stormy. Scott is survived by his children; Alex Duncan of Dallas, TX and Kalie Duncan and companion, Luke Schreck of Aledo; his parents: Dave & Janice Duncan of Aledo; brother: Phil Duncan and companion, Connie Lemon of Aledo; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marjie & Jim Earl and Peggy & Steve Johnson all of Aledo; one grandchild lovingly expected; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Benjamin and Bessie Castor and Paternal Grandparents: Floyd and Lula Duncan.
