Frank "Vic" Anderson

Frank “Vic” Anderson, 68 of Aledo, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at his home. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Frank Victor Anderson was born on September 16, 1943 in Moline, IL to Gustaf & Alice (Bennett) Anderson. He was previously married to Sandy Meredith, Nancy Fowler and Diana Tribler. Vic was an over the road truck driver, both self employed and working for other trucking companies in the area. He was a dedicated member of the Black Hawk Pool League, where he was team captain for several years. Survivors include his children: Sean Anderson of Matherville; Barbra Glidden of Aledo and Karen (Check) Hedger of Matherville; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
