Charles E. Peterson

Charles E. Peterson, 75 of Lincoln, NE, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Charles Peterson Memorial Fund. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family with local arrangements. Charles was born on July 12, 1932 in Galesburg, Illinois to Carl August & Bernice H. (Erickson) Peterson. He married Karna Bloomberg on June 8, 1958 at the Swedona Lutheran Church. Charles received his Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois and was also a veteran of the United States Air Force, having serviced in the Korean Conflict. Charles retired from Ameritas Life Insurance Company as Vice President of Information Services. Charles is survived by his wife Karna; 2 children and their spouses: Bryan & Gail Peterson of Atlanta, GA and Kristin & Kurt Wulser of Lincoln, NE; 2 granddaughters, Grace & Claire Peterson; 2 brothers and their wives, Kenneth & Pat Peterson of Chicago and Karl & Karen Peterson of Colorado.
