Sharon Freeland

Sharon K. Freeland, 66 of Aledo, died Thursday at her home. A time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be made to the Sharon K. Freeland Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home. Sharon was born on March 1, 1947 in Peoria. She was a dedicated Nurses Aide for over 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting and watching TV. Sharon is survived by her children: Robert Albert of Monmouth; Brian Lour of Seattle, WA; Wendy Wintjen of Clinton; Cathy Rountree of Burlington; Kim Goodell of Aledo; Melissa Skinner of Galesburg; Darlene Albert of Rock Island and Tracy Lufkin of Algona, IA; 32 grandchildren: 23 great-grandchildren and siblings: Carol, Janet, Patricia, Jimmy, Albert, Jackie & Ronny. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Albert; sister, Donna and 2 granddaughters.
