Linda J. Feik, 67 of Aledo, formerly of Alexis, died Tuesday at her residence. Services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in Viola Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM with the family present from Noon to 2 PM. Memorials may be made to the Linda Feik Memorial Fund. Linda Jean Lee was born on November 7, 1941 in Moline to Frank I. & Marie (Branner) Lee. She was united in Matrimony to Henry Feik, Jr. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1997. Linda was a CNA with the Mercer County Nursing Home for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, knitting, watching movies and working on puzzles. She also enjoyed her pets, especially her beagles. She was a member of the Red Hat Society at Heritage Woods where she had resided the last two years. She cherished the many friendships she made with the residents and staff at Heritage Woods. She especially enjoyed the time spent in the activity room working on puzzles and playing Wii. Linda is survived by her 3 children and spouses: Dan & Becky Feik of Gerlaw; Richard Feik of Alexis & companion, Gayle Tharp; Kathy & Kevin Durbin of Albertville, AL; 3 step-sons and spouses: Tom & Shirley Feik of Viola; Michael & Kitty Feik of TN; Jim Feik of Letts, IA; special friends: Sonya Feik of Aledo and Darlene Lucas of Rock Island; 3 Grandsons: Donald, Caileb & Garrett Feik;2 great-grandchildren, Isaiah & Taylor Feik; 2 brothers and their spouses: Jerry & Linda Lee of Keithsburg and Chuck and Betty Lee of Aledo; and a sister and her husband, Sharon & Gene Payne, Colona, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers, Frank “Sonny” Lee and Robert “Zeke” Lee.
