Lorraine "Lori" Strom-Szymarek

Memorial services for Lorraine L. “Lori” Strom-Szymarek, 55 of New Boston, will be Saturday, August 8th at 11:00 AM at the New Boston United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in New Boston Cemetery. Visitation and fellowship will follow graveside services in the church fellowship hall. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family. Lori died on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her home. Lorraine Louise was born on August 4, 1959 to William and Betty (Nitzel) Lutrell. She was previously married to Harry Richard Strom. On November 2, 1995 Lori and Joseph Szymarek were united in marriage in Phoenix, AZ. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2012. Lori was an LPN in Arizona and for Trinity Home Healthcare when she moved back to New Boston. While living in Arizona she enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and hunting. She loved her cats and dogs and had a green thumb for growing sunflowers. Lori was a very proud grandmother to Katlin Marie. Those who will cherish Lori’s memory include her sons: Brian Strom & companion, Lisa Saddoris and Kyle Strom & fiancé, Becky all of New Boston; granddaughter, Katlin Marie Strom; Parents: Betty & Jim Munson of New Boston and Bill & Marlene Lutrell of Spokane, WA; Brother: Bill Lutrell of New Boston and Sisters: Cindy Moulds (Dennis Long) and Nichole Scull of New Boston; Donna & Jerry Badgett of Creston, IA: Karen & Terry Nichols of Earlham, IA and Tina & Tim Richardson of Spokane, WA. .
