Rebecca L. McNall

Rebecca “Beckie” McNall, 52 of Alexis, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at her home with her family at her side. A celebration of Beckie’s life will be held on Sunday at Moon River Supper Club, Andalusia, beginning at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the National Humane Society. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is assisting the family. Rebecca Lynn was born on July 14, 1956 to Richard & Carol (Hagan) Kenan. She married Brent McNall on July 25, 1986 in Memphis, Missouri. Beckie’s true vocation was breeding Rottweilers and was a member of their many associations. She also had previously been a Realtor with Knox Realty, Galesburg. Recently she helped her husband start a company, “Safety Hooks”, of which she was currently CEO. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and loved to visit her special “grand pets”, Lasso and Anka. Those left to cherish Beckie’s memory include her husband Brent; daughter and son-in-law, Emilie and Clint Michael of Naples, Florida; her parents, Dick & Carol Kenan of Galesburg; sisters: Debbie & her husband Kerry Swanson of Wake Forest, NC and Pattie Kenan of Galesburg; brother: Rick Kenan and his wife, Diana of Galesburg; Nieces and Nephews: Jessica Swanson of Raleigh, NC, Drew Swanson of Huston, TX and Maddie & Kole Kenan of Galesburg; special aunts, Doris Herrin of Galesburg and Edna McCreight of Aledo and all the extended McNall Family. Beckie was preceded in death by her grandparents.
