Patricia A. Banks

A celebration of Life for Patricia A. Banks, 50 of Aledo, will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Inurnment will be in Aledo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Patty Banks Memorial Fund. Patty died on Friday, December 25, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Patricia Ann was born on February 8, 1965 in Rock Island, Illinois to Lester Eugene & Charlotte Iona (Vaughn) Banks. She was previously married to Steve Rupe. Patty was a devoted caretaker and cherished the friendships made through work, especially within the Dialysis unit. She enjoyed dancing, singing, sunshine and the special time spent with her children and grandchildren. Spiritual life was important to her and she placed her trust in God. Those left to cherish Patty’s memory include her children: Cassy & Garrett Bieri; Julia Kosiarski and Becky Rupe, all of Aledo; Grandchildren: Gavin, Charlotte and Elsie Bieri; Father: Lester & Jean Banks, Sandwich, IL; Siblings: Rodney (Leesa) Banks of Leland, IL; Scott Banks of Melbourne, FL; Rhonda (Lonnie) Newton of Crawfordsville, IN; Frank (Mary Beth) Banks of Sterling Heights, MI and Raymond Banks of Denton, TX; Jay (Linda) Leonard, Michigan; Gay (George) Jahad, California and Jody (Ronda) Leonard of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Banks and previous husband, Steve Rupe.
