Russell M. Dilts

A Celebration of Life for Russell M. Dilts, 59 of Viola, will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Community Bible Fellowship, Aledo. Visitation and fellowship will immediately follow the services. Memorials may be made to the Russell Dilts Memorial Fund. Speer Funeral Home is assisting the family. Russell died Monday at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo. Russell was born on January 17, 1957 in Omaha, NE to Ira G. & Anna Mae (Hall) Dilts. He married Sharon Jones on Nov. 11, 1978 in Aledo. Russell was an electronic technician with his own shop, and also worked for Auto Zone. He also served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Russell is survived by his wife, Sharon: daughters: Melissa (Joshua) Sissel and Barbie (Harold) Odeen, all of Aledo; Karen Dilts of Matherville; brothers: Nick Dilts of North Henderson; Frank (Melanie) Dilts of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and many others who knew him as Dad and grandpa. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara.
