Jacob R Hamilton

Jacob R. Hamilton, 57 of Aledo, died Thursday, January 5, 2016 at his home. Services are  Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in the New Windsor Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Jacob Hamilton Memorial Fund. Jacob Ray was born on January 27, 1959 to Brenton John & June (Vance) Hamilton. He was a 1977 Graduate of Winola High School. Jake and Kathy Lewis were united in marriage on August 15, 2007 in Aledo, Illinois. Jake was an LTL truck driver with Dohrn Transfer Company for 24 years. He enjoyed his Motorcyle rides and mowing his lawn. Those left to cherish Jake’s memory include his wife, Kathy; children: Jacob Hamilton, Jr of Bluffs, IL and daughter, Lacie & Rodney Evans of Winchester, IL; step-children: Gary Howard of Dayton, OH and Shawn Howard of Cardington, OH; Grandchildren: Racheal & Reagan Evans, Jade Hamilton and Meah, Devonn & Gracie Howard; Parents: John & June Hamilton of New Windsor; Siblings: Jim & Kristie Hamilton of Andalusia and Joy Lee & David Duritsky of Dekalb, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Hamilton and his grandparents.
