Funeral Services for Morgan C. Jackson, 23 of Aledo, will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church, Aledo. Casual attire is preferred. Burial will be in Peniel Cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by VFW Post #1571. Visitation is from 3 to 8 PM on Tuesday at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Morgan died on Friday, August 11, 2006 near Seaton, IL from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Morgan was born on November 18, 1982 in Aledo, IL to Barry L. Jackson and Diane (Paulsgrove) Blaser Jackson. He married Amber Wade on December 31, 2001 in Aledo, IL. Morgan was a 5 year veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Okinawa, Japan and Minot, ND. He recently joined the Air Force Reserve. Morgan was a dispatcher with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department and had recently worked at General Grind and Machine, Aledo. Morgan loved the outdoors, especially riding horses, dirt biking, four wheelers, target shooting,all sports and spending time with his special canine companions, Daisy and Dakota. The true love in his life was his family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and grandson. Those left to honor Morgan’s memory include his wife, Amber; daughters: Kylie and Alexis and one lovingly expected; parents: Diane Jackson of Aledo and Barry & Teresa Jackson of Sherrard; sisters and their families: Erica & Scott Biddle and Shelton of Seaton; Sybil & Tyson Dillavou and Trevor and twins expected of Aledo; Leondra & Dan Magedanz And Blake, Sydney, Madison and Trenton of Aledo; Megan Hunter of Indianapolis, IN and Amanda Hultgren of Sherrard; brothers and their families: Derek & Karla Blaser and Alek & Trae of Seaton; Nick Hultgren and Hanna of Milan; grandparents: Lois Jackson and Max & Molly Paulsgrove of Aledo; Dolores Scobie of Littleton, CO; Mary & James Benson of Knoxville and friend and co-worker, Butch Blaser of Aledo. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Delmar Jackson.
