Beatrice J. Morse

Beatrice June Morse, 81 of Aledo, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Graveside services are Thursday at 11:00 AM at Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg, Illinois. Beatrice was born on April 4, 1937 in Conesville, Iowa to Lloyd & Mildred (Adams) Deahr. She was a clerk with the Muscatine General Hospital for many years. After retiring she also did home healthcare for 18 years. Beatrice enjoyed growing up on her grandparent’s farm near Nichols. She spent her life raising and providing for her children. She loved to go shopping and truly had a green thumb with her plants. Her special pets included her dog, Tator and bird, Geronimo. Beatrice is survived by her children and spouses: Cynthea & William Long of Washington, IA; Deborah & Larry Ness of New Boston; Tina & Jim Lough of Muscatine; Jerald & Nina Solomon of Wapello; Kimberly & Richard Ott of Texas and Candida Rhodes of Davenport; 24 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; Siblings and spouses: Lloyd & Dorothy Deahr of Nichols; Vernon & Carol Deahr and Norma Bell all of Muscatine; and a special friend, Dale Hidlebaugh of Muscatine.
