Eugenia M. Stitzer

Eugenia M. Stitzer, 92 of Matherville, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at Brookstone of Aledo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Matherville. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Viola. Memorials may be left to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church or St. John’s Cemetery. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is in charge of arrangements.

Eugenia Marie was born on February 8, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois to George & Zora “Oree” (Buban) Stajcar. She was a graduate of Sherrard High School and retired as a line inspector for Farmall. She enjoyed bowling in earlier years and collecting jewelry. Her dog, Charlie, was her constant companion.

Eugenia is survived by many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
