Jeannene was born on April 10, 1936 in Buffalo Prairie Township to John N. & Glenna (Bull) Kelly. She was raised on a farm near Edgington, Illinois with her five brothers and two younger sisters. Jeannene cherished the support of her family.  She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1954. After graduation, she worked at various jobs in the Quad Cities where she met her first husband Robert D. Newbern. They had 2 daughters, Cheri & Kelly.

Jeannene eventually moved to Aledo with her two daughters. In 1968, she married Glenn Moffit of Perryton. She owned two Antique Stores as well as organizing and promoting annual doll shows at the VFW. He preceded her in death in 1997. Jeannene was employed at the Aledo Wal-Mart for over 20 years, retiring in 2007. Ron McNall and Jeannene married in 2006, living in Aledo. Ron was a devoted caregiver during her debilitating disease. She attended First Baptist Church, Aledo.

Jeannene enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a great cook, wonderful seamstress and loved planning and buying her bedding plants each spring. She was an avid follower of her grandsons and great-grandsons sporting events, especially football playoffs and state championship games.
