Jerry Lee Fausett

Jerry L. Fausett, 95, of Aledo, died Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at Mercy One – Genesis, Davenport. Private family services will be held with burial in Aledo Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Furever Friends or St. Catherine’s Catholic Church and sent to Speer Funeral Home, Aledo who is assisting the family.

Jerry Lee Fausett was born on March 23, 1931, in New Boston, Illinois to James “Pete” H. & Leota (Louck) Fausett. He married M. Joan Luckenbill on August 21, 1954, in Keithsburg, Illinois. From this union, two children were born, Kristen and Monte.

Jerry owned and operated Fausett Construction. After work, Jerry followed his children and grandchildren in all their school and sports activities. He was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church and served his country in the United States Army.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan; children, Monte Fausett and Kristen Nelson; grandchildren and spouses, Dr. Matt & Faith Nelson, Nicci & Dr. Nader Ailabouni, Joni Nelson, Evan & Nadia Fausett, Kelsey & Jay Pickens, Cami & Ben Scheuermann, and Bryce & Hannah Fausett; great-grandchildren Hayley, Drew, Sydney, Olivia, Isaac, Xavier, Vail, Taylar, Maizie, Jax, Baker, Aubrey, Bennett, Ryder, Axel, and Riley; and a brother Rodney Fausett. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Doug Nelson, a sister, Nancy Brown; and a brother Jim Fausett.
