Margaret F. Reinhardt, 95 of Aledo, died peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Mercer Manor of Aledo. Private family services will be held with burial in Aledo Cemetery. If you wish to honor Margaret’s memory, a donation may be made to College Avenue Presbyterian Church, where she was a lifetime member. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is assisting the family.

Margaret Florence was born on May 17, 1930, in Aledo, Illinois to Harry Earl & Katie (Ewing) Bell. She graduated from the Western Illinois State College and went on to teach Home Economics at Galva High School until her marriage. Margaret and M. Richard Reinhardt were married on December 6, 1953, in Aledo. Together they farmed the Bell family farm their entire married life. Richard preceded her in death on June 21, 2016.

Margaret was active in her community, belonging to: the William Dennison Chapter of the DAR; University of Illinois Homemakers Extension; Mercer County Quilt Guild; Jolly Neighborhood Club and the Mercer County Farm Bureau, where she served on the Women’s Committee and enjoyed their Primetimers Gatherings.

Margaret is survived by her children and spouses: Ken & Kathy Reinhardt of Seaton and Kathleen “Katie” & Tal Ogg of Valparaiso, IN; son-in-law, David Pemble of Geneseo; grandchildren: Greg Pemble, Joel Pemble, Sean & Lindsey Pemble, Daniel & Beth Reinhardt, and Joanna & Ted Anderson; great-grandchildren: Ethan Reinhardt & Fiancé Airess James, Isabella Reinhardt, Grant Anderson and Jake Anderson; and a great-great-granddaughter, Lila Reinhardt. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a brother in infancy, Everett Earl Bell, and a daughter, Karyl Pemble.
