Mindy was married to Bill Shaw who was not only her husband since 1998 but her best friend since 1994. She was blessed with two sons, a wonderful daughter in law and two grandchildren. The oldest son, Buddy (William Shaw Jr) is 26 and married to Samantha (Pruett) Shaw and has two children, a son named Lane, born on 01/14/2020 and a daughter named Riley Jo born 7/6/2021. Samantha was a huge part of the family way before she married Buddy, in our hearts she was already part of the family. In Mindys heart she was already her daughter. Buddy went on to open his own State Farm Office of his own with his loving wife at his side digging in and making dreams come true.
Her youngest son is Brett Shaw is 21. He has made a home for himself and found a fantastic job in Kansas and is all settled in. He will always Mindys baby.

She loved planting flowers and gardening but quit doing so much of it after she lost her grandmother, Bea. She moved to Kansas in August of 2020 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were her true passion and first love.
