Phillip E. DeMarlie, 76 of Aledo, died Friday, March 6, 2026, at Arcadia Care of Aledo. Graveside services will be held on Friday March 13th at 10:00 AM at Reynolds Cemetery, Reynolds, Illinois. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.
Phillip Edwin DeMarlie was born on January 10, 1950, in Rock Island, Illinois to Raymond & Claudia (Hampton) DeMarlie. He was a 1968 graduate of Rockridge High School and served his country in the National Guard. In earlier years he owned and operated DeMarlie Feed and Grain in Reynolds before leaving to train racehorses in the Chicago area.
Phillip is survived by several brothers.
