Randi (Ethel) Lafever Christianson

Memorial services for Randi E. J. (Lafever) Christianson are Saturday, April 27th at 11 A.M. at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be made to the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Randi died on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Liberty Village, Clinton, IL.

Randi was born on July 9, 19”and as my mom would say, "its none of your business” in Aledo, Illinois to Loyd and Vera (Doonan) Lafever.

Randi wore many hats growing up and in life. She was a tomboy; a farm girl; a cheerleader; a homecoming queen; raced cars on a dirt track; was a wife and single mom. She went back to school; earned a brown belt in karate (2nd in a national tourney); was a softball player; a daredevil (accidentally swam with a shark in Hawaii, cliff jumping, skiing in the Swiss Alps); owned a commercial management business and a construction business (as a woman in the 80’s). She was also the most unselfish mom in history.

Those left to cherish Randi's memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Travis & Amy Christianson; Grandchildren: Hanna, Grace and David; many nieces, nephews and friends. Randi was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Vera Lafever; sisters Helen in infancy; and Janet Ward.
