Rickey "Rick" L. Leonhart

Graveside services for Rickey Lee Leonhart, 66 of Canyon Lake, Texas, formerly of Viola, Illinois will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12:30 PM at the Viola Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00 at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Rick died on July 31, 2021, at his home.

Rick was born on June 27, 1955 in Aledo, Illinois to Frederick E. & Bettye (Biddle) Leonhart. He graduated from Winola High School. Rick retired from Coleman Manufacturing after many years of employment. In his spare time he loved tinkering on engines and doing carpentry.

Rick is survived by his mother, Bettye Leonhart of Aledo; brother, Gary (Patty Schrock) Leonhart of New Boston and a sister, Carol (Ronnie)Erickson of Austin Texas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
