Robert Lee Chapman

Robert L. Chapman, 65 of Aledo, died Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport, Iowa. Private family services will be held. Military Honors will be presented, and burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. In honor of Bob’s love for fishing, memorials may be directed to the Mercer County High School Bass Fishing Team. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.

Robert Lee Chapman was born on November 15, 1958, in California to Archie Eugene & Carole Lee (Rush) Chapman. He served his country in the United States Marines. Bob was a member of Laborers Local Union #309, as a painter.

 Bob was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseback riding. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and an avid reader of Westerns.

Bob is survived by his niece and nephew, Heather & DJ Wise and their family and several brothers and sisters.
