Ronald George Handke

Ronald G. Handke, 83 of Aledo, formerly of Tazwell County, Illinois, died Thursday, November 17, 2022. Private burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois.

Ronald was born on June 17, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois to George & Irene (Eichmeyer) Handke. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960.  Ron continued to serve his country as a Tazwell County Police office and Tazwell County Search & Rescue for many years. He enjoyed training his dog for the search and rescue.

Ron’s neighbors and friends will cherish his memory.
