Toni Faye McAvoy

Toni Faye McAvoy, 70 of Seaton, Illinois, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017 at Trinity Hospital, Rock Island after valiantly battling lung cancer for several years. Toni was born on January 31, 1947 in Macomb, Illinois to John Thomas & Barbara (Breeden) McAvoy. She was a 1964 graduate of Macomb High School and later received her Associate degree from Southeastern Community College, Burlington. She served Blue Cross & Blue Shield for many years as a customer service representative.   Toni enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, cooking, and bargain hunting. Her favorite things though were her weekend trips with her brother and sister-in-law and spending time with her son and his family. Those left to cherish Toni's memory include her son & daughter-in-law: Dale & Debbie Dilts of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren: Brandon & Shelby; brother & sister-in-law: Dr. Victor & Karon McAvoy, Aledo, IL and half sister, Becky Yoho of Carthage, IL.  She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held at a later date at Pennington Point Cemetery. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.
