Tracey Randolph

Tracey Dianne Randolph, age 66, passed peacefully into eternal rest on May 4, 2026. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 AM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in Buffalo Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers please, but if inclined please make a donation to Antioch Baptist Church or to the Randolph family for her grandchildren's education.

Tracey Dianne was born on June 21, 1959, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Frank and Harriette (Wagner) Bass. Tracey grew up on a fruit farm in and around Conesville, Iowa, where her family raised melons and a variety of other crops. It was on that land, with soil on her hands and purpose in her bones, that she learned the value of hard work and dedication from an early age — lessons that would shape everything she became.

Tracey was never afraid of a hard day's work. Over the course of her life she took on a wide range of roles — from blue-collar labor to medical care and work in care facilities — meeting every challenge with the same quiet grit she had first discovered in the fields of her childhood. She eventually made her home in Gorin, Missouri, where she would go on to leave one of the most lasting marks of her life.

For more than ten years, Tracey served as a foster parent, opening her home and her heart to numerous children in need. But her care extended far beyond the walls of her own house. She was a steady, selfless presence for community children and friends alike — anyone who needed a safe place, a warm meal, or simply someone who would show up. She gave tirelessly, not because it was easy, but because she believed that children deserved to be loved and protected, and she lived that belief every single day.

Rooted in a deep and abiding Christian faith, Tracey's love for God was woven into the fabric of her daily life. It showed in the grace she extended to strangers, the patience she offered her family, and the resilience she carried through life's hardest seasons. She was warm and nurturing by nature, strong and steady by character, and she brought both of those gifts to bear on everyone fortunate enough to be in her orbit, and especially by the love she showed to her husband. 

Nothing made Tracey happier than a full table. She lived for homecoming meals and big family gatherings — the holidays, the traditions she created and kept year after year, the simple joy of having everyone she loved gathered under one roof. Her cooking was an act of love, her table a place where family became something you could feel. Those meals, and the memories made around them, are among the greatest gifts she leaves behind.

Tracey is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Randolph; her son, Tom Lesnet, and his wife, Anna Lesnet; her daughter, Makayla Randolph; and her grandchildren, Riggs, Dash, and Wrenlee Lesnet; siblings, Bill, Clint, Pete & Becky, Pup and Viki. She is also survived by a large and loving extended family who will carry her warmth and spirit forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Harriette Bass; siblings, Barbara, Leah, Toni, Jeff, Boot, and Roni.
